Benefits for the therapist
Safe physical therapy
The modern PhysioGo 500I device has been equipped with the self-test procedure (enabling current monitoring of the device’s functional status each time it is turned on). In the case of laser therapy, the device automatically tests the laser radiation power – always before the start of the procedure. Thanks to this, the user can be sure of the correct dosage of laser radiation during therapy.
The operator can independently test the electrodes used in electrotherapy and test the laser radiation power of laser probes. As a result, it has the ability to verify the lifetime of accessories – this is an additional protection.
PhysioGo 500I has two independent treatment channels which make it to be recognized as two separate electrotherapy devices. In order to provide patients with the highest level of safety during electrotherapy, galvanic separation between circuits was used in this case. As a result, it is possible to perform treatments for two patients, where each of them is galvanically separated from each other.
Many methods of treatment
Usually, to achieve the desired therapeutic effects, it is necessary to use several physical therapy methods that complement each other. The PhysioGo 500I device allows you to perform three types of treatments: low level laser therapy, electrotherapy and magnetotherapy. Two independent treatment channels enable simultaneous performance of two different therapeutic procedures. In the field of electrotherapy, PhysioGo 500I offers the availability of all common currents, i.e. TENS currents, Kotz currents, tonolysis, microcurrents, currents dedicated to spastic paralysis therapy, diadynamic, galvanic and other currents. In addition, the device has been designed to perform professional electrodiagnostics (I/t curve).
Laser therapy using the PhysioGo 500I device gives huge therapeutic possibilities in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and the optical fibers available in the option, expand the range of possible treatments. Importantly, the device works with all laser applicators available in the ASTAR offer (i.e. point probes, cluster laser applicator, scanning laser applicator). The maximum laser radiation power that the therapist has at his disposal is up to 1800 mW. Magnetotherapy perfectly complements electrotherapy and laser therapy offered by PhysioGo 500I – increasing the effectiveness of treatment in the case of fresh fractures, edema or sports injuries. The use of CPE plate applicators equipped with dedicated fastening straps gives the possibility of applying magnetotherapy treatment anywhere in the patient’s body. The maximum magnetic field strength is 10 mT.

Predefined treatment programs
Like most ASTAR devices, the unit has been equipped with a modern treatment encyclopedia. It contains a description and illustration of the methodology of performing procedures for all disease entities. The user has 285 built-in treatment programs at his disposal. PhysioGo 500I has a 7-inch color display with a touch panel, which makes encyclopedia operation easy and convenient. The physiotherapists can use 38 saved electrotherapy treatment sequences or create 10 of their own.
Treatment sequences are a combination of several types of therapeutic currents into one treatment sequence. The device also allows you to use the functions of favorite programs, 8 predefined Nogier’s acupuncture programs, 30 Voll’s acupuncture programs for laser therapy and saving up to 300 user-defined programs.
Mobility
This relatively small device (only 6 kg) is an ideal work tool for physiotherapists offering home healthcare environmental therapy or qualified people who perform treatment procedures in many medical facilities. Specially adapted comfortable PRO transport bag holds a device and accessories compatible with it. PhysioGo 501I version is additionally equipped with a battery that allows up to 4 hours of device operation without the necessity to connect it to a power source.
